She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Sara; her sisters, Marguerite Martin (Joseph), Edna Ladouceur (Raymond), Marcella Sylvestre (Marcel), Jeanette Sylvestre (Roger), Madeleine Chauvin (Louis) and Irene LeBoeuf (Maurice); and her parents, Archille Desjardins and Albertine Desjardins.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Bob) and Judith Shuel (Edwin "Ned"); her grandchildren, Andrew, Natalie Meloche (Dave), Aimée Rathbone (John) and Stacey Shuel; her great grandchildren, Breanna, Emma, Ethan, Ben, Jack, Isla and Nora; and her sibling Emelda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
