It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carman (Mathews) Ruth Laurie of Westmount, Québec, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stanley Mathews and Ruth Mathews (Reynolds); her brother Donald Mathews; and her husband James Laurie (Jim). She is survived by: her siblings, Bliss Mathews and Wendy Hale (Mathews); her children, John (Nancy), Heather (Paul), Jo-Anne (Gerald) and David (Louise); her grandchildren, Morgan, Erin, John, Eric, Juliana, Trevor and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Arthur, Caffrey, Esme, Jack and Angus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
