He is survived by: his spouse Issaaf Hawamdeh; his children, Lara Shantz (Jim), Todd Smith (Shane Lopes) and Adam Smith (Diana); his grandchildren, Kiria, Kogan, MacKeely, Taydon, Max and Marlee; his siblings, Jerry (Ann), DeeDee (Kit), Dwight, Matt (Jean) and Suzy (Mark); his siblings-in-law, Barb, Wayne and Rusty; his parent-in-law Fayzah Shammout; and his siblings-in-law, Nojoud, Nassir and Mohammed Hawamdeh.
