With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Cavanaugh (Verdun, Québec), who passed away on June 19, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Montreal; and her sisters, Frances Lyons and Freda Sexton of Pointe-Claire, QC. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and many very dear friends.
She was a proud recipient of the Humanitarian award from the United Irish Societies in 2009.Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.As per her wishes, donation in her memory may be sent to SPCA-Montreal or St. Thomas More Parish, 980 Moffat Ave., Verdun, QC H4H 1Y9.
