With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shaughnessy Hyatt (Sherbrooke, Québec), who passed away on February 11, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shaughnessy and Laura Desruisseaux; her spouse Lloyd Hyatt; her child Dianne (Peter Kirby); and her siblings, Carl, Dorothy Chute, Gordon, Ashley, Pearl Smith and Lloyd (Elsie).

She is survived by: her children, Audrey (Peter Hopkins) and Shirley-Ann (Robert McVety); her grandchildren, Christopher (Rose), Kevin McVety (Caitlin), Richard, Andrew Hopkins (Marisa), Jennifer (Shaun) and Felicia Kirby (Brad); her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Braden, Wyatt Hopkins, Cole, Dustin, Anika McVety, Bree-Ann McVety and Chloe Kirby Grapes; and her siblings, Bernice Johnson and Ernest Shaughnessy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
