He is survived by: his wife Sonya; his children, Hilary (Chris), Annabel (Jason), Vanessa (Casey), Hannah (Pascal) and Ryder; his grandchildren, Nora, Madison, Elayna, Owen and Freya; his parents, Kenneth Johnston and Dorothy Johnston; his aunt Hazel Johnston; and his parents-in-law, Alle Vander Wal and François Jeanson. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
