He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence (Annie-May Moorhead) and Bay; his wife Joy; his siblings, Dawson and Vera; and his sibling-in-law Shirley Hodgins.

He is survived by: his child Shelley (Ertug Gurhan); his grandchildren, Nev and Ven; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Peppard (late Doug), Margaret Howard (Brent) and Elgin Nicholas (Cindy).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Rudy Shankman Hospice https://www.hospicecareottawa.ca where Pat spent his last 10 days supported by their loving care team comprised of incredibly compassionate medical professionals and volunteers or to the Friends of St. Joseph's Manor in Campbell's Bay.
