He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Wall and Herbert Hobbs; and his siblings, Harold, Herbert, Sydney, Minard, Kenny, Armorella and Beulah.

He is survived by: his brother Versil; his children, Laurie (Patricia White), Bentley (Debbie Workman) and Glenda (Scott Russett); his grandchildren, Amy (Sean Haddad), Anthony (Meagan Derouin), Erica (MarK Brisebois), Cory, Kyle Buxton (Dana Goodfellow), Andrea (Curtis Young), Jarvis (Jenna Perkins), Janessa (Marc Thurler) and Janelle; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Clay Hobbs, Blair, Letty, Harper Brisebois, Quinn, Kendall Young and Houston Buxton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or Shawville Pentecostal Church.
