He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilliard and Clara; his brothers, Raymond and Gerald (June); and his parent-in-law Hilliard Rebertz.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his sisters, Mildred (Albert) and Marjorie (Desi); his parent-in-law Meryle (Sparling); and his siblings-in-law, Helen (Neil), Barry (Lise), Brian (Karen), Dale (Nancy), Royce, Ronnie (Jeanne), Floyd (Kerry), Ward (Lucy), Kerry and Kevin (Tammy).

He was involved with the Otter Lake Volunteer Fire Department for a time and was proud of it, therefore donations in his name to this organization or to the Palliative Care unit at the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
