He was predeceased by: his stepson Jamie Belair; his brother Edgar; his brother-in-law Johnnie; his parents, Rheal and Cinderase; and his parents-in-law, John and Jean Stanley.

He is survived by: his stepson Marc Belair; and his siblings, Margaret (late Ralph Durrell), Raymond (Lucette), Kathleen (Donald Belec), Poncho (Linda), Garry (Melanie), Irene (Roger Berubé), Hellen (Jean-Guy Soucie), Connie (Gerard Lebel), Theresa (late Ron Soucie), Laurel (Bob Smith), Melanie (Denis Rivet) and Susan (Brent Barnaby).
