He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Matas Sr. and Herminia Jatico Matas. He is survived by: his wife Maria Concepcion; his children, Rafael Ron and Germaine; his siblings, Annabelle (Benjamin Sol) and Carlito (Bella); his siblings-in-law, Fernando and Maria Victoria; his niece Michelle (Vinmar); his grandson Vince Miguel; his aunts and uncles, Jesus, Patrocinio, Magarita, Victoria and Susana; and his cousins, Jemar, Dan, Sarah, Winston, Woodrow, Tammy, Jethro, Jacob and Judith. He is also survived by many relatives, and friends.

A private visitation will be held on Saturday February 27th, 2021 with the Covid restrictions, it will be under invitation only.
