It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Montgomery Velma (Saint-Marc-des-Carrières, Québec), who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Christensen and Antoine Christensen (Nielsen); her husband G. Everett Montgomery; and her brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Donald and Delbert.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Buehler (Roger) of Stockton, Roger Montgomery of DeKalb and Kevin; her sister Lois Henning of Elgin; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Christensen and Judy Christensen. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis a private family graveside service will be held in the Afton Cemetery in DeKalb.

Memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
