We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2020, at the age of 99, Frances R. Katz (Saint-Marc-des-Carrières, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maude Rowe (Klein) and Herbert B. Rowe; her daughter Margaret; her brothers, Herbert, Robert and Richard Rowe; her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew Bloom and Sara Bloom; her son Herbert D. Katz (Mitzi); her grandchildren, Angela Comiteau (Chad), Andrew, Lindsay Seldal, Derek (Tiffany), Kaiden and Khloe Katz; her son Dr. James E. Katz (Kapka); her grandchildren, Rachel, Raymond and Franchesca; her son Richard J. Katz (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Brian (Haylie), Stephanie Korth (Brett) and Adam (Katherine); and also, David Katz, Galesburg, Will, Ben Comiteau, Emmie, Ari Katz, Tate Seldal, Evan, Aaron Katz, Emery Korth, Graison and Lucas Katz. She was also cherished by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, private services will be at the Garden of Shalom, Fairview Cemetery in DeKalb.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory may be sent to the Employee's Fund at Oak Crest, DeKalb Area Retirement Center.
