He is survived by: his children, Karine (Imad), Sandra (Luc) and Pierre (Alexandre); his grandchildren, Samira and Anthony; his brother Gilles (Elaine); his stepmother Agathe Dallaire Lessard; and his sisters, Anne (Pierre) and Audrey (Dominic). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
