He was predeceased by: his brother Julian Smolenski; and his grandson Richard Switala. He is survived by: his wife Czeslawa Elizabeth; his children, Margaret Switala (Jacek), Jozef and Leszek Smolenski; his grandson Gregory Switala; his brother Andrew Smolenski; his nephew Mark Smolenski; and his niece Monika Lukomska.

Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a private prayer service on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7:00pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
