He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Gifford and Bessie Gifford (St-James); and his son Danny. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Aulis); his children, Christine (Michael Schumacher), Mark and Paul (Melany Boucher); his grandchildren, Rachel, Lauren Schumacher, Alyssa, Tyler Gifford, Evan and Derrick Gifford; and his siblings, William (Diane Abercrombie), Beverly and Sandra (Richard Beaudoin).
