She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Jane Hamilton and George Atkins; her husband Robert Ableson; her children, Betty, Douglas, John (Chantale Hamelin) and Susan (Tim Constantin); her grandchildren, William (Lindsay Roy-Bernatchez), Kevin (Ariane Côté), Jessica (Franck Kashindi), Joe, Julianne (Neal Howard), Christine, Thomas, Robert Ableson (Vanessa Rose Sheehan), Ryan and Eric Constantin; her daughter-in-law Henriette Welsh; her siblings, Wilbert (Terina McGrath), Ella (Alton Tuck), Edward (Thérèse Hamelin) and Doris (Edmour Fournier); her siblings-in-law, Evelyn (Walter Mueller), Luella (Harold Ferguson) and Marion (Derek Sharpe); and her friends, Katarina and Louise. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews along with other relatives.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, an intimate celebration of her life will take place at Woodend cemetary in Portneuf.
