He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Desjardins and Ida May Godin; and his siblings, Clarice (late Gilbert Meilleur), Inez (late Octave Vallee), Jean (late Leo McNamara), Jacqueline (late Marcel Cronier), Maurice, Wilfred (late Linda Hérault), Clifford (late Barbara Sloan) and Francis.

He is survived by: his siblings, Mildred, Elaine (late Garey Stitt) and Neil (Helen Rebertz). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
