She was predeceased by: her husband Lindorf Hylvester Mayers; her father Albert Eversley Sandiford; her aunt Erla Blandeen Sandiford; and her mother Marjorie Euraline Sandiford. She is survived by: her brother Melvin Sandiford; her children, Michelle, Neil, Lindsey and Kevin; her grandchildren, Willem, Maxim and Kennie; her half-sister Audrey; her aunts, Grace, Hazel, Rose and Thelma; and her friends, Janet, Lucille and Myrtle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, and many other close relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to St. Thomas' Anglican Church in her memory.
