She was predeceased by: her husband John Patterson; her son Gordon Patterson (Heather); her nephew Robert Copping; and her parents, Newton Copping Sr. and Helen Bell Halbert.

She is survived by: her daughter Janet Patterson; her brother Newton Copping (Virginia); and her niece Dawn Uniat (Mike).
