He was predeceased by: his sister Aylene (Robert Reynolds). He is survived by: his son James Peden; his wife Barbara Black; his children, Neil (Stephanie Lee) and Shelagh (Jason Markovits); his granddaughters, Alexandra, Raphaëlle and Joséphine Peden; his son David Smith; and his siblings, Lynda (Patrick O'Brien), Joan (Derek Burney) and Alexander Peden (Beverly).
