It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne John Zakaib (Outremont, Québec), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on May 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorne John Zakaib to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Viola; his children, Janice and Jay (Nicole); his grandchildren, Alexis and Gabrielle; his sister Denise (late Kelly Arrey); his granddaughter Olivia; his parents, Jesse and Eva; and also, Robert (Krystyna), Sandra (Randy), Cheryl and Ronald (Jacqueline).

Given the pandemic conditions that are currently in place, the immediate family has decided to hold a private funeral service, with the hope of inviting family and friends to a celebration of Lorne's life at a later time, when conditions favour a more open and fitting memorial service.
