He is survived by: his close friend Avadana MacWhirter; his children, Richard (Carol) and Karine (Dave); his granddaughter Emma; his siblings, Larry (Grace) and Joan (late Benny); and his siblings-in-law, Traill McWhirter (Best Bud) and Diane.
