We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2025, at the age of 96, Lorne Achtell (Mulgrave-et-Derry, Québec) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorne Achtell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Anna; his siblings, Martha, Gustav, Ruben, Clara, Ida, Rena, Freda and Venita; his spouse Dell; and his son Kirk (Sheila).
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen (Mary Jean), Ernest (Sandra) and Christopher (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Adam, Ashley, Mitchell, James, Kate, Sarah, Ines and Malachai; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth and Vivianne.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (643 Chem. d'Inlet, Mulgrave-et-Derry, QC J8L2W8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorne's memory to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
