He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Erika Krawetz (Poopsie); his daughter Nadine (Dina) Procyk (Brian Desmarteau); and his siblings, Bella, Leon Celemencki, Allan and Elaine Shipper. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as his great nephews and nieces.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Montreal Worker's Circle Cemetery.
