He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam; his siblings, Leon Albow, Meir Peretz, Yakov (Violetta Peretz), Moshe (Rosy Peretz), Shabetai (Susan Peretz), Reina (Vitali Ganon) and Rachel (Itzahk Nahum); and his parents, David Peretz and Rosa Peretz.

He is survived by: his children, Iris (John), David (Lindsay) and Daniel; his siblings, Levana and Hanna; and his family Tim Hortons.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2A1Y7).
