She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Stein and Celia Efron Stein; her son Douglas Brownstein; her brother Oscar Stein; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Trager Stein.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Brownstein; and her nieces and nephews, Bonnie Stein Gluck, Albert Gluck, Eileen Stein Dick and Neil Dick.
