He is survived by: his wife Anna Schwartz; his daughters, Ronna Schwartz (Richard Shandelman) and Shari Schwartz-Maltz (Murray Maltz); and his grandchildren, Jory Goldsmith, Selina Goldsmith, Allie Maltz and Ryan Maltz.

A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Steiger Residence (2450 Bd Thimens, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R2M2). A reception was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
