He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bobbi Kates; his children, Jeffrey (Jennifer Kates) and Lissy Kates (Bruce Kagan); his grandchildren, Alanna, Sarah Kates, Sam, Justin and Alexa Goldberg; his sister Marcia; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Rubenstein, Alison and Jay Brown. He was also cherished by his family and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2A1Y7). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 and on Thursday, December 12th 2024.
