With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin Stanley Shaffer (Montréal, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Cannistraro; and his parents, Aaron Shaffer and Anne Shaffer. He is survived by: his sons, Sean and Ronnie Shaffer; his stepdaughters, Lisa and Danielle; his grandchildren, Markus, Justin, Alix, Antonio and Valentina; his sister Rhonda Shaffer; his brother-in-law Bob Herman; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Benjy, Skylar and Abigail.
