He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving Luise and Maria Luise; his children, Karen (Robert Spevack), Barbara (Josh Denes), Michelle (Blair Johnson) and Justin (Vicky Kaufman); and his siblings, Judy (Meyer Nudel) and Stephen Kaufman. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, family, friends.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2A1Y7).
