She was predeceased by: her parents, Filomena (Luigi) and Teodoro (Antonietta); her husband Antonio Veloce; and her child Guglielmo (Maddalena). She is survived by: her children, Teodoro and Nicola; her grandchildren, Anthony (Amanda), Guglielmo, Karina (Ants) and Enrico; her great grandchildren, Milena and Alexia; and her caregiver Alison Quinn.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Maria's memory to pancreatic cancer research.
