He was predeceased by: his parents, Haim and Fortunée; and his sibling Mayer Ghazal. He is survived by: his wife Hélène Khadour; his sons, Steven and Donald; and his siblings, Aimée (Victor Dayan), Felix (Susana Ghazal) and Lydia (Maurice Ghazal).
