It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ian William Braide (Montréal, Québec), born in Liverpool, North West, who passed away on April 12, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Janet Grace Mills Braide; his sister Penelope Ann Teare; and his brother-in-law John Harbron. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his former wife Joan Aileen Farlinger; his children, Robbie David Braide of Montreal, Martha Janet Braide of Zurich, CH and Mary Jane Davida Braide of Toronto; his stepchildren, Margot Witthun of Dartmouth and Stephen Molz of Toronto; his grandchildren, Vicki Braide, Ian Braide, Laurent Crevier, Jason Kurth, Kennedy McKee-Braide, Katie Burchert and Zach Witthun; his sisters-in-law, Florence Kristjanson and Lillian Dyson-Babcock; his nephew Mark Teare of Calgary; his niece Alexandra Teare of Nanaimo; his brother-in-law Peter Farlinger; and also, Hugo and Emily.
