She was predeceased by: her significant other Willard White; her parents, Mervyn McConnell and Mary Elizabeth Usher; and her siblings, Helen Sunley and Barry McConnell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth and Judi (George Gilraine); her grandchildren, Willard, Krystal, Sandra Kirkland and Kirk; her great grandchild Judith Kirkland; her nieces and nephews, Gay Wiley, Kathi McConnell-Hore, Michael Sunley and Jeff McConnell; and her cousins, Sheila Norman, Margaret Lawn and Betty Fraser.
