She was predeceased by: her spouse Emery Morais; her parents, Raymond Vienneau and Margaret Vienneau (Kenny); and her siblings, Mike, Betty, Louise, Martina, Margaret and Eileen.

She is survived by: her children, Marguerite Martel (Roger) of Boucherville, QC, Louise Gervais (Robert) of Bathurst, Michael (Jeannine) of Bathurst and Pierre (Raymonde) of Bathurst; her grandchildren, Jean-Marc, Julie, Sylvie, Philippe, Mathieu and Tanya; her great grandchildren, Mireille, Brandon, Tyler, Chloé, Loïc, Elianne and Leah; and her sisters, Mildred Bennett of Toronto, ON, Eleanor Laidlaw of Ajax, ON, Angie Davis of Montreal, QC and Judy Yakes of Ontario.

Donations in memory of Gertrude may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
