The memory of Catherine Mackin (Longueuil, Québec), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Mackin and Ann Marie Mackin; and her husband Kenneth Laurent. She is survived by: her siblings, Ann (Ray), Patricia (Donald), Agnes (Thomas), Maureen (Dave), Kevin (Meredith), Michael (Tanja) and Gerard (Micheline); her children, Heidi, Grant (Noémie) and Sarah; and her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Lily, Isaiah, Jordyn, Paige, Abby, Olivia, Alice and Zoe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A wake was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Maison Darche Funeral Home (505 Boulevard Curé-Poirier O, Longueuil, QC J4J2H5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (321 Rue Empire, Greenfield Park, QC J4V1V4).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St-Paul's kids lunch program.
