He was predeceased by: his sister Audrey (Bernard Weigensberg); his siblings-in-law, Shirley and Phil Melnick; his parents, Max Harry Helfield and Annie Grossner; and his mother-in-law Rose Berman.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Feinberg; his children, Heather and Liane; and his sisters, Cynthia (Moe Black) and Marlene (Edward Helfield). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandniece, family, and friends.
