It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Gushue (La Prairie, Québec), born in Brigus, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 11, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, Arnold "Arnie" and Robin "Bob" Gushue; his siblings, Bart Gushue, Harold Gushue, Doreen Hogan, Jeanne DiVozzo, Florence Duffett, Jesse Moulton and Gladys Moran; and his parents, Edith Gushue and Leonard Gushue.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughters, Beverley Ann (Roger) and Patti Ann (Neil); his daughter-in-law Christine; his grandchildren, Robin, Brittany, Stephany, Miranda, Allan, Rebecca and Kim; his great grandchildren, Yasmin and Shaelyn; and his sisters, Lilian Percy, Mary Lush and Violet Sparkes (Noah).
