He is survived by: his wife Aline Lalonde; his children, Nathalie and Pierre (Nathalie); his grandchildren, Nicolas, Vanessa, Erika, Alexa, Alexis, Pénélope, Yanni and Sandrine; his siblings, Jacques (Lorraine) and Louise (Gaetan); and also, Sonia (Chris) and Cathy (Thierry). He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-and-law, his nephews and nieces as well as many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence's Foundation or to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
