He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shearer and Erma Hinks; and his siblings, John and Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Susan Dineen; his children, Gail (Claude Latreille) and Sean (Jean); and his sister-in-law Eileen. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, his precious great grandsons.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rodrigue Montpetit & Fils Funeral Home (170 Rue Châteauguay, Huntingdon, QC J0S1H0).
