She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldéa Guèvremont and Victor Fortin; and her siblings, Gaston, Michel, Micheline, Monique, Mireille and Mariette.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald Linklater; her daughters, Karen (Kris Brydges) and Kristine (Joseph Featherstone); her stepchildren, Dwayne Linklater, Darryl Linklater and Tracy Linklater-Pacione; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Lincoln and Hannah; and her sister Marcelle Myles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Donations in lieu of Flower's in Madeleine's memory may be sent to the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
