He was predeceased by: his siblings, Toon and Riet; and his grandson Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Geppie (Wolthuizen); his stepchildren, Terrie Leger (Marcel) and Daniel; his grandchildren, Cynthia (Phil), Daniel, Nicholas (Aline), Tracie (Dan) and Amanda (Sebastien); and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Zoe, Eva, William and Davin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Memory Loss Foundation of Canada helping to fund research and provide care for those living with dementia.
