It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilles E. Soucie (Fort Coulonge, Québec), who passed away on January 9, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Soucie and Laurette Laroche; and his siblings, Roch, Thomas Jr., Armone (Aliff Romain), Lauda, Leonard (Belleau), Arlene (Deah Gagnon) and Odette (Loyola Boisvert).

He is survived by: his spouse Vivianne; his children, Luc (Trenna Derouin) and Martine; his siblings, Rosita (late John Walvius), Vella (Ralph Francoeur), Fernand (Elizabeth) and Jackie; and his sisters-in-law, Diane (Raymond Thivierge) and Lise (Henry Verna). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
