He was predeceased by: his spouse Lai Fong Loo. He is survived by: his children, Sylvia (Peter), Esther (Oscar), Amy (Patrick), Vivian (Howard) and Richard (Erick); his grandchildren, Kevin (Tracy), Kathleen (Geoff), Eric (Mallory), Sarah (Jonathan), Alexander, Melissa, Jacob (Gabi), Noah and Jin; and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Martin and Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Parkinson Canada in memory of Jerry Soon Chor Loo.
