She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Stevan Ratsch; her children, Samantha Ratsch (Cedrick Lortie) and Christopher Ratsch (Marie Thibault); her parents, Arthur Howell and Lorraine Taylor; and her siblings, Arthur Howell (Johanne St-Amand), Andrew Howell and Delva Howell.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Bd des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B2A6). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local food bank can be made in her honour, as Debbie's believed that no one should ever go hungry.
