She was predeceased by: her siblings, Georg Besemer (Loretta) and Elizabeth Nagy; her husband Josef Steibl; her parents, Christian Besemer and Maria Besemer; her stepmother Elizabeth Besemer; her parents-in-law, Josef and Elisabet Steibl; her brother-in-law Andrej Nagy; her brother Michael; her sister-in-law Marie Sladitschek; and her great grandchild Alexis Fraser.

She is survived by: her children, Helen Sigrist (Marcel), Helmut Eric Steibl and Herbert Steibl (Suzanne Theriault); her grandchildren, Patricia Fraser (Chad), Tamara Burnley (Graham), Gerry Sigrist (Trina), Christopher Steibl, Sebastian Steibl, Jonathan Steibl and Vanessa Steibl; and her great grandchildren, Donovan Fraser, Nicolas Burnley, Rylan and Ethan Sigrist.
