He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Mary; his sister Linda; and his niece Hailey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jensen (Fowlow); his siblings, Julie (Jacques), Joanne (Kevin), Wayne (Heather) and Peter (Melinda); his stepchildren, Mary-Lou, Terri-Lynn and Richard; and his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Dillon, Isabella, Liam and Xavier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Stephen's memory to the Renfrew Hospice.
