She was predeceased by: her spouse Aurel Vaillancourt; her parents, Mathias Chaput and Élida Chaput; and her brothers, Rhéal and Aurel Chaput.

She is survived by: her children, Suzette (Roy), Paulette (Mike Szabon), Liane (Pierre Ladouceur) and Denis (Louise Lafreniere); her great grandchildren, Brandon, Brayden Petiquan and Gavin Larocque; her stepgrandchildren, Hailey, Alisha Szabon and Matthew Lajoie; her brother Edgar Chaput; and her sisters-in-law, Thérèse Vaillancourt and Madeleine Chaput. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to current Covid-19 circumstances, a private family service will be held.
