We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2018, William John Alexander Stetstone Rooney (Beaupré, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel; his siblings, Jennifer Kitchen and David; and his brother-in-law Barry Cockerline. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Marie; his children, Alex (Izabella) and Jennifer (David MacHenry); his grandchildren, Aidan Alexander, Leila Marie and Caitlin Grace; his siblings, James (Maxine) and Carolyn Cockerline; his siblings-in-law, Gary Day (Gerrie) and Ruth; and also, Bill Day (Fiona) and Hubert Kitchen.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Health Care Foundation or Gower Street United Church.
